We are delighted to welcome you to our 11th Annual Conference on the theme of ‘A new chapter: working together to deliver gambling reform’.

 

Our Annual Conference promises a varied and engaging agenda and we are pleased to be hearing contributions from the Minister responsible for Gambling, Stuart Andrew MP; the CEO of the Gambling Commission, Andrew Rhodes; renowned health expert, Professor Dame Carol Black; and Children’s Commissioner, Dame Rachel de Souza.

 

Throughout our conference, we are looking forward to hearing more on:

• The future of gambling harm prevention: exploring ideas, research insights and perspectives around policy changes that are needed to prevent gambling harm and what role other sectors can play.

• Best practice in applying a whole system approach: reflecting on how to apply a public health and equal access approach to the prevention of gambling harm, including the need for early intervention and awareness and how lived experience is central to the successful delivery of this.

• What more could be done on safer gambling messaging and behavioural insights: hearing from global experts as to what works, as well as any opportunities and gaps in advertising and regulation, including changes the industry may need to make to improve public health messaging around gambling.
