A new chapter: working together to deliver gambling reform

In April 2023 GambleAware launched a major new public health campaign aiming to reduce the stigma associated with gambling harms. The campaign was developed in response to the significant evidence that stigma is a barrier to people self-identifying that they are experiencing gambling harms; stigma is a barrier to accessing support; and stigma is a harm within itself. The campaign was co-created with people with lived experience of gambling harms, putting their experiences at the heart of our communications. The campaign evaluation from the first burst of the campaign was published here on the GambleAware website. Following a successful launch, GambleAware have launched another burst of the campaign to build on its impact which launched 21st November and will run into the New Year.
